Inspired on the book by Conceição Senna, "Blue Girl" is a story that takes place in the true hinterland that, as Guimarães Rosa used to say, "is within us." A backwoods where watering the dry land is the fantasy of a girl who has only worn blue and white since birth, fulfilling a promise made by her mother when she was a newborn to get rid of the Seven Days Evil. Another color only when Conceição turns into a teenager. She looks forward to this day, wishing the red all embroidered dress, made by her mother with care, hanging on a single hanger, nailed to the wall, as if it were a painting. Our narrative speaks of a universal moment in the life of any person, that period of formation that is the transition from childhood to adult life.
