Short film in 35mm tells the story of Miriam Torres, the mother of a Cuban family, who sees her son leave Cuba and go to Miami to live the North American way of life.

Festivals and Awards: Selected among the 10 most voted by the public at the 16th São Paulo International Short Film Festival. Special Jury Prize at the 9th Luso-Brazilian Film Festival, Portugal. Prize for best script and best soundtrack, at the 10th CINE PE Festival in Recife. Best Documentary Award, at the 9th Las Américas Film Festival, Texas, USA. Award of best film chosen by the public, at the 10th Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, USA.
